Tech Help Clinic REGISTRATION REQUIRED
COURSE ENROLLMENT - Enrollment for this course is limited to 6 students.
COURSE LOCATION- Silicon room at the HOA2 Arts and Crafts Center.
COURSE PREREQUISITES – None
Category: Windows, Android, IoT, but NO Apple devices.
Note: Your device can be any Windows desktop computer, Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, Router, Printer, Camera, Internet of Things (IoT) or other tech item that you own. This will be “one on one” type of help.
COURSE DESCRIPTION – Bring your Windows Desktop computer laptop, tablets, smartphones, routers, printers or any tech device you would like help with. Bring your software questions or the device the software runs on and we will assist you with getting it to work properly. We can also help you install any software you may have.
Our instructors will endeavor to help you repair your “device”. Computer won’t boot? We may be able to help with that. We can help with transferring your data from an old device to your new device. If you have malware we can help you remove it and give you tips on preventing it in the future. We can help with setting up a new computer, tablet or smartphone and transferring your data (Photos, Docs, Videos, etc.).
Would you like to set up a cloud storage account? We can help you set it up and show you how it works.
Please bring– USB Flash Drive for programs, a USB cable for your tablet or smartphone, fully charged battery on your laptop or tablet and a power cord. Bring specialty cords for other devices. We would prefer you wear a mask to help protect others from Covid.
