Prerequisites:

You MUST know your Apple ID and password

There are specific requirements for using the Keychain application with iCloud:

iCloud must be enabled.

Devices must have a device login password enabled.

iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or later (current iPhone version is 15.6.1)

macOS Monterey 12 or later (current version is 12.5.1)

Safari 9.1 or later (current version is 15.6.1)

watchOS 8 or later

Note: You can use Keychain as a “local keychain” without iCloud enabled, but there will be no password updating or syncing among devices.
