MS Excel Numeric Use
COURSE ENROLLMENT - Enrollment for this class is limited to 8 students
COURSE LOCATION - Silicon room at the HOA2 Arts and Crafts Center
PREREQUISITES - Successful completion of a Windows class or comfortable navigating & using Windows or Mac OS directories. Should understand basic spreadsheet concepts, entering data, and using tools taught in MS Excel Data Entry & Use class.
COURSE DESCRIPTION – One 75-minute class weekly for 2 weeks.
This class is to expose the student to using a spreadsheet for the purpose of managing numeric data within a spreadsheet. You should leave the class with a good understanding of how to create formulas and functions using Microsoft Excel 365 Excel, similar to Excel 2016-21.
Topics will include:
• Arithmetic operations
• Creating formulas and functions within cells
• Cell replication and duplication
• Formatting
• Designing charts & graphs
• Saving & Printing
This course is not meant for experienced Excel users.
COURSE MATERIALS - Bring a personal Flash drive for transporting files between the classroom and home.
